Girolamo Moscardini Airport, headquarters of the 72nd Stormo, opens its gates to the public to celebrate the Centenary of the Air Force with a day dedicated to the world of helicopters.
In the program of scheduled events, on the occasion of the Centenary celebrations of the Air Force, il 72 ° Stormo of Frosinone opens its doors to the public again after the success achieved last year 28 March, XNUMXth anniversary day of the Blue Army, where the citizenship of Frosinone has rushed numerous exceeding about 3000 units.
Domenica, 21 May from 10.00pm to 18.00pm with free admission it will be possible to visit a historical static exhibition and one dedicated to all the helicopters in service with the Stormo and the Air Force, as well as all the rotary wing assets used by other Armed Forces e state armed forces for which the Frosinone Flight School is interested in training the related pilots.
From 10.30, in three distinct periods, it will be performed flight activity appropriately commented by a speaker who will illustrate the various phases and types of training.
There will also be numerous exhibition stands on the skills of the Flight School and promotional points to introduce young people to the various training opportunities of the Armed Forces.
They will also participate Air Force Associations of Frosinone which for the occasion will host the representatives of theAIRC for the charity initiative "A gift from heaven".
There will be many other attractions which will allow the public to be able to spend a unique and unforgettable day along with Air Force personnel, on occasion of the first hundred years of the Arma Azzurra.
