25 million euros for the cities of Turin, Rome, Bari, Prato and L'Aquila. Liuzzi: "Ready to build a network of centers for the development of innovative technologies in the area"

The ranking with the list of 5 projects presented by the cities of Turin, Rome, Bari, Prato and L'Aquila, admitted for funding for the construction of new Emerging Technologies Houses, after the one already launched in Matera last year.

For these projects, the MiSE makes a total of 25 million euros available.

With the Support Program for Emerging Technologies, the Ministry of Economic Development finances the creation of technology transfer centers in the area aimed at supporting research and experimentation projects for SMEs and start-ups, on issues relating to the use of Blockchain, IoT and artificial intelligence, connected to the development of next generation 5G networks.

"With the selection of these 5 additional projects we are ready to establish a network of Technology Houses, from north to south of the country, with the aim of offering physical spaces with digital traction for SMEs and start-ups, in which it will be possible to combine the scientific skills of Universities and Research Centers with the needs of the entrepreneurial fabric and strategic sectors in order to increase the competitiveness of the territories and encourage their relaunch thanks to the development of innovative technologies ", declared the Undersecretary with responsibility for digital policies Mirella Liuzzi.
