Rossella Iannelli, "You left on tiptoe, suddenly and in silence"

(by Emanuela Ricci) I learned the news on Facebook, incredulous, I went to the commercial activity founded in 1948 in Colleferro, "Iannelli Franco Piante and Fiori":"unfortunately the store was closed for mourning". The sad confirmation from the funeral poster, Rossella Nardi she died suddenly on 24 August, at the age of 72, at her home.

Rossella had continued her business as a florist, despite her husband's death Franco Iannelli, which occurred prematurely three and a half years ago. The business was everything for them, they spent whole days in the workshop to pack floral gifts, requested by the numerous customers, who have now become friends of the couple.

We used to go to Iannelli's both to buy beautiful and well-kept plants and flowers and to spend a few pleasant minutes talking with Rossella. Always available, he wouldn't let you go if he wasn't sure he'd satisfied you. Always with a smile, very generous, he often told his two children with pride, Andrea and Alberto. A few months ago he had also experienced the joy of his first grandson who, ironically, was born on May 7, the same day as his grandmother. When she told us about her grandchild's progress, her eyes shone with happiness from her glasses.

There were never any references to the late husband Franco. Today is a sad day for Colleferro.

The funeral will take place on the 26 in August at 11.00, at the church of Santa Barbara.
