ILBDA: Over 100 institutions confirm participation in the 1st Economic Forum for Libya, on 7 and 8 June in Tunis

The Italian Libyan Business Development Association (Ilbda), organizes the Laico Spa and Conference Center Hotel in Tunis, the first 'Economic Forum for Libya'. The event will bring together institutions, municipalities, organizations, companies and entrepreneurs from Italy, Libya and Tunisia in search of strategic commercial, financial and technological alliances.

In addition to the Minister of Economy in the Libyan Government of National Unity, Mohamed al-Hawej, more than 100 institutions will take part in the work, including companies, municipalities and organizations. The Forum will begin with a plenary session of dialogue, in three panels:

-Shared Prosperity and Common Strategies;

-Into Opportunities;

- Economic Partnerships and Foreign Investments.

The mayors of Ghadames, Ghat, Misurata, Tawergha, Souq al Jumah and Central Tripoli. Each panel will be moderated by a journalist from each country, specialized in the economic field.

La Banque Tuniso-Libyenne (BTL), the General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL), Misurata Free Market, Ariston Thermo Group, Colacem, El. Com, Biome Solar Industry, Massucco T, Pemabat, T & T, Les Ciments Artificiel Tunisienne, Convivia, Delta Center, Fiore, Sideralba, Artec, Stivel and La Romana Farine are among the sponsors of the event.

During the Forum there will be an exhibition space that will host the typical handicrafts of southern Libya, in collaboration with the Tuareg Libyan Woman Organization, a non-profit organization active in Libya in the promotion of Tuareg culture and in defense of women's emancipation.

Also Confimprese Tunisia announced its commitment to the creation of the Forum.

Through meetings and presentations, the Forum is proposed as a moment of exchange of ideas, opportunities and experiences, strengthening relations between the participants and creating new joint ventures in the reconstruction process undertaken by the country. "Together We Go Further" is in fact the slogan of this initiative promoted by Ilbda, "a non-profit association, born in Tripoli in 2018 under the far-sighted direction of President Sandro Fratini, who has gained ten years of experience in North Africa , building a solid network of contacts ".

Each company will have the opportunity to interact with decision makers and institutions, companies and possible partners, participating in meetings in their own sector. The participation of leading companies in the sectors of energy, renewable energy, aeronautics, boating, health sector, training, design and planning, electronics, mechatronics, electrical components, biotechnology, chemistry, plasturgy, environment, construction and building materials is expected. , wood, large retailers, printers, publishers, communication, advertising, agri-food industry, agriculture, automotive sector, mechanics, metallurgy, manufacturing products, sports, entertainment, culture, tourism, textiles and clothing, transport and logistics.
