PA real estate: easier updating with continuous detection

Treasury Department database changes technology. By February 28, the PAs will have to consolidate the data referring to 31/12/2019

Simpler and more direct methods for updating the real estate assets held by Public Administrations, with the introduction of a "continuous survey" approach, which will allow the Administrations involved to communicate only the changes with respect to what has already been declared.

About ten years after its birth, the Treasury Department's database on public buildings held by Italian PAs changes technology and logic of updating, thanks to the migration to a new, more technologically advanced platform. The database already constitutes an exhaustive knowledge tool available to everyone, from the individual citizen to the political decision-maker, powered by over 8.000 administrations - provided for by Law no. 191/2009 - and with information on more than 2 million real estate units, including buildings and land.

The new supply logic, aimed at consolidating and improving the quality of data, is centered on the uniqueness of the information relating to the real estate and on its sharing among the Administrations.

The first phase of the transition to the new survey system will end on February 28, 2022, the date by which the Administrations will be able to verify the information in the system and update the data relating to assets owned and held at December 31, 2019, for subsequent transmission. some data.
