On 26 and 27 March, for the thirtieth edition of the FAI Spring Days, INPS opens the doors of the historic headquarters of Palazzo Missori in Milan.
The Palace, built between 1928 and 1931 by the architect. Marcello Piacentini, represents a significant example of rationalist architecture, an iconic place in the city of Milan and today houses the headquarters of the INPS Lombardy Regional Directorate and the INPS Metropolitan Coordination Directorate of Milan following a functional redevelopment and restoration process of the building of value owned by the Institute.
The visits, organized by the volunteers of the Italian Environment Fund in collaboration with the INPS, will take place on Saturday 26 March and Sunday 27 March from 10.00 to 17.30 and will allow everyone to visit the Sala Italia, with the historic clock designed by Piacentini and flanked by two winged geniuses, the floors with white and black marble textures arranged in a radial pattern and the monumental helical staircase embellished by the child with a cornucopia.
The Pension Room exhibits the paintings of the services on which the Institute is still engaged today.

The initiative to open historic buildings during the FAI days confirms INPS's commitment to the enhancement of art and the promotion of the cultural heritage of the Institute, already demonstrated with the opening of Palazzo Wedekind and the Pinacoteca in Piazza Colonna in Rome as part of the FAI autumn days 2021.
The opening of the historic headquarters of the Institute represents an unrepeatable opportunity for families and citizens who love art and cultural beauties of our country to discover the many unexplored treasures of the institutions. Treasures that INPS has preserved and restored over time as part of its functions as a public body at the service of the community. The Institute's objective is to continue in this work of opening up and disseminating its patrimonial excellence both centrally and locally.
