Inps: revenue increases steadily

The INPS revenues in the first seven months of the 2018 (so-called collections of production, excluding transfers from the State and other entities) amount to 119.351 million euros, a marked increase (+ 4,07%) compared to the same period of 2017, when they were 114.686 millions of euros were collected.

The increase confirms the positive trend that had already been registered last year compared to 2016 (+ 1,5%), when in the January-July period the total collections had been 112.988 million.

The growth in contributory income of companies with employees is particularly significant, with cash management at 31 on July 2018 showing an increase in collections equal to 4,65% compared to the 31 July 2017 (67.044 million euro against 64.062 million).

In addition to a reduction in benefits and an increase in the number of salaries (due to both an increase in wages and an increase in employment), the activity carried out by the Institute contributes to the increase in contributory income. timely and accurate assessment of the contributions due, through the development of automated procedures that favor the control initiatives conducted by the Institute's local offices. In this framework, the use of the Single Contribution Regularity Document (DURC) also for the control of companies that benefit from the contributory benefits of the law is one of the factors contributing to the growth of contributory income.

In general terms, on the total of collections, the credit recovery data directly from the Institute stands out, without the intervention of the collection agents: the increase of 7,36% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year shows a spontaneous convergence of taxpayers towards the receivables ascertained by INPS.

The collection of receivables through concessionaires also increased sharply (+ 8,63%). The result was a massive PEC notification of the non-recurring debit notices conducted since the last few months of the 2017 and which allowed the notification of debit notices for a total of over 147 million.

Lastly, as a result of recent surveys on domestic "silent" household employers, at 31 July 2018 there was an increase in the collection of contributions from domestic workers, from 667 to 778 million (+ 5,75%), compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
