Damascus, with a note written by the Syrian army, denounced an attack conducted in the early hours of today by Israel in Syrian territory with jets and land-to-ground missiles.
In the statement released by the Sana news agency, we read that the Israeli attack caused material damage. Damascus claims to have "hit" an Israeli fighter, without providing further details and claim to have intercepted some rockets fired from the territory of Israel.
According to what was announced by the General Command of the Army and the Syrian Armed Forces, the missile attacks launched by Israel were three. The target of the missiles, it was specified in a statement, were military bases in the al-Qutayfah area on the eastern outskirts of Damascus.
