Blitz by the Israeli army in the West Bank on the night during which 25 senior members of Hamas were arrested, in the context of extraordinary measures taken after the violence in recent days. According to Palestinian sources, the arrested include a deputy and 5 Hamas militiamen freed years ago by Israel in the context of a prisoner exchange. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh phoned the al-Abed family in Kobar (West Bank) yesterday to congratulate the attack conducted by their son who stabbed 3 Israeli civilians to death in Halam. Therefore, tension remains high after the serious incidents that took place in Jerusalem after the restrictions imposed by Israel on the entrances to the Temple Mount.
