Israel. Another 12 hostages freed

According to what was declared by the military spokesman, twelve hostages freed from Gaza and reached Israeli territory. The group is made up of ten Israelis and two foreigners. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to extend the truce between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, which was due to expire this morning, by another two days.

The agreement reached would provide for the release of 60 Palestinians in exchange for 20 hostages. Last night, 33 prisoners arrived in Ramallah, released by the Israeli prison authorities, while 11 hostages freed by Hamas arrived in Tel Aviv.

Diplomatic initiatives continue to try to find a solution to the crisis, as stated by Washington, in fact Blinken's trip to Israel and the West Bank this week has been confirmed. Waiting for the results of the NATO Foreign Ministers' summit scheduled for today in Brussels.
