The toll of the attacks carried out in Kabul during the Persian New Year is serious. The series of explosions, which hit the Afghan capital while the Nowruz celebrations - the Persian New Year - were underway, left 6 dead and 23 injured.

The news was announced by a spokesman of the Government specifying that the explosions took place near the Shiite mosque of Kart-e Sakhi. It is still unclear whether the attack was rockets, as stated by the defense ministry on Twitter, or mortar shells.

According to reports from the local police, the person responsible would have been stopped.
