China practices invading Taiwan

On the second day of Chinese military exercises near the island of Taiwan, joint precision attacks were simulated against key targets on the island of Taiwan and surrounding waters. This was reported by Chinese state media. The Chinese broadcaster CCTV revealed that the military air force has deployed dozens of planes to "fly in the airspace of the target" and the ground forces have carried out exercises for "precision attacks on multiple targets".

Yesterday, China began the three-day military exercises around the island, the day after the president's return Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen from a short visit to the United States.

The island's defense ministry announced today that nine Chinese warships and 58 aircraft are currently around Taiwan, while Beijing's military maneuvers continue for the second day. The ministry added that it is monitoring "Chinese military movements through a joint intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance system", specifying that the warplanes detected up to 12 noon local time (6:00 in Italy) included a mix of jets fighters and bombers.
