The State Police delivers Easter eggs to the hospitals of Rome

The State Police delivers the Nestlè Easter eggs to the patients of the Umberto I Polyclinic, the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, the Santo Spirito Hospital and the IFO San Gallicano in Spinaceto. Children and adults received a special visit this year.

Like every year, the State Police decided to give Easter eggs, donated by Nestlè, and moments of serenity to the patients and doctors of some hospitals in the capital.

The first stop was the child neuropsychiatry department of the Umberto I Polyclinic. The policemen from the Rome Police Headquarters and the Postal Police Service arrived at the hospitalized children and young people with many colored eggs. The moment of giving gifts was particularly felt by everyone and the children expressed their desire to see the policemen again to ask them many more questions and exchange opinions on various topics. Immediately afterwards the agents went to the Umberto I Polyclinic to also give Easter eggs to the emergency room doctors, who are always on the front line to help everyone. The General Director Fabrizio d'Alba was also present on this occasion and wished all the doctors and policemen a happy Easter, recalling the importance of our continuous collaboration and our work aimed at the community.

In the following days the policemen visited the young patients of the Ifo San Gallicano and the Tor Vergata Polyclinic, where the doctors and nurses, enthusiastic about the surprise, also actively participated in the delivery of the gifts.

Finally, this morning, the agents visited the surgery department of the Santo Spirito Hospital, in the presence of the Extraordinary Commissioner ASL Roma 1 Giuseppe Quintavalle, who participated in the delivery of the gifts to the patients, wishing them a Happy Easter and ready healing.

Days full of surprises for the little patients and exciting for the agents, happy to have given those who cannot spend Easter at home moments of joy accompanied by big smiles and a bit of light-heartedness.

Every day, the women and men of the State Police are close to those who are less fortunate and give support to those who actively work for the community. The delivery of Easter eggs is a tangible expression of closeness to patients, both small and large, but at the same time of gratitude towards those who work tirelessly to guarantee the health of all of us.
