The lies of the war, now it's up to the Kurds. Let's talk about the Turkish "Gray Wolves"

It is always difficult to justify a war, which brings death to military and civilians. Innocent men, women and children who will bear the signs of conflict throughout their lives, giving rise to feelings of hatred and resentment that will be handed down for generations and which will most likely cause other wars.

There is no answer to justify a conflict. Despite the reasons that "diplomatically" are spread to public opinion, most of the time there are false truths, or hidden truths. Turkey's attack in Syria against Kurdish strongholds is a conventional military action against a population and not against a regular army since the Kurds have no statutory military component. They only have the merit of having rejected and imprisoned many ISIS militiamen, nullifying their advance towards northern Syria.

He speaks of hidden truth Alberto De Filippis  su euronews.it. P.arla of a war based on lies where the only one who remains defeated is the truth.

At the same time that the anti-Kurdish military operations, propaganda operations are proceeding in Syria, Ankara wants to show that, together with its Syrian allies, it is advancing in a surgical way, reducing losses to a minimum. The Kurds, who do not have aeronautics, repeat that they are resisting. The propaganda of the two parts is around the city of Tel Abyad.

It is one of the centers along the M4, junction of one of the few still existing highways, which allow the movement of troops and an undoubted tactical advantage for those who control it.

In all this, the requests of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel that she would have asked President Erdogan to stop operations seem unrealistic enough. Even the threat from Berlin and Paris to block military supplies does not seem to scare Ankara.

The Turkish forces would have penetrated about thirty kilometers into Syrian territory. According to the UN: 130 displaced people have already fled their homes.

Erdogan, who boasted about the killing of about 500 YPG fighters, keeps repeating that the operations are against terrorists, not against "the Kurds who are our brothers".

On the bombing of US positions in the Kobane area, the US continues to ask Ankara for explanations. The Turks knew of the American presence in northeastern Syria when they fired artillery shells. And the attack may have been deliberate. American officials reported this to the Washington Post, raising the hypothesis that Turkey voluntarily bombed near the American outpost with the probable objective of removing US troops from the border.

Erdogan and the Gray Wolves

The sign of recognition of the Gray Wolves is the "wolf's head" formed with an outstretched arm with the thumb, middle and ring fingers touching and the index and little fingers in the form of horns (the wolf's ears). In a few years Turkey has profoundly changed, the call of Islam tickles the strings of popular sentiment. It is the young generation that feels the strongest call to the tradition of the veil and of prayer when the fathers had moved away from it with the secularization and Western fashions imposed by Mustafà Kemal Ataturk.

Far-right nationalist movements have emerged from semi-clandestine; they are no longer afraid of exposing themselves or of being prosecuted by law, as was the case with military governments that supervised compliance with the secular Constitution. The Turk has always been strongly nationalist. With the return of Islam, the feeling of pride and nostalgia that modernist Kemalism had discouraged and repressed also resumed. The intimate nature of a people is not canceled by decree.

"Turkut" literally means "the strong". The Turks have always been a conquering and warrior people and as a nomadic population of northwestern Asia they settled in present-day Turkey after subduing the surrounding peoples, Turkic and Arab, and founded one of the most powerful empires lasting seven centuries.
The nationalist movement of the Gray Wolves, officially represented by the Mhp (Nationalist Action Party), is the most uncompromising interpreter of the nostalgic current that postulates the return of the Ottoman Empire. From a branch of the movement, the Islamic ultranationalist group “Nizami Alem” was born. ”(Order of the Universe) which supplies weapons to the Chechen separatists and is linked to the Lebanese fundamentalist organizations in the common vision of the Islamic awakening and the holy war on the West.

If they were tolerated before, today they are back to politics and preaching freely. After all, their nationalism was not in contrast with the policies of governments traditionally linked to the USA and strongly anti-Communist and anti-Russian.
In Ankara and Istanbul it can happen to come across old buildings that display the Turkish flag in the curious version of three small white crescents on a red background, it is said in the meaning of the great Ottoman Empire extended to three continents: Asia, Africa, Europe.
And yet in the most modern strata of Turkish society the idea has taken root that in order to enter Europe, it is necessary to do justice to the taboos that have so far prevented Ankara from recognizing the extermination of Armenians and other minorities (Kurds and Greeks) carried out in 1915. -16 in the breakup of the Ottoman Empire.

It was the Gray wolves with flags and symbols that prevented the holding of the first conference on the Armenian genocide organized by 200 intellectuals in the small private university in Bilgi, a working-class district of Istanbul. For the nationalists, Armenians do not exist, consequently there can be no genocide, just as there is no Kurdish problem, because Kurdistan, in the south-eastern region of the country, does not appear on the map.
"The Turk has no other friend than the Turk ”is the proud and lonely slogan of the Gray Wolves. They are Europe's most tenacious opponents and rather regret the glorious past which they do not despair of reviving a day not far off. The premise was the re-appropriation of Muslim identity, together with the Turkish matrix amended by any European and Western contamination.

The collapse of the Soviet Union liberated the Turkish-speaking and Islamic republics of Central Asia which, as centuries ago, could suffer the fascination and the attraction of a resurrected great hegemonic Turkish empire in west-central Asia. It is the dream of the Gray Wolves, heirs of the nationalist and xenophobic movement of the Young Turks, which at the beginning of the last century began a violent campaign for the elimination of all foreign influence from the territories of the Empire.

From that moment on, Italian interests in Libya, then under Ottoman domination, no longer seemed secure. Rome asked for guarantees that the Sublime Porta could not give. Italy declared the war which led to the Italian possession of Libya in 1911-12.
Years ago, a noisy protest with egg-throwing and attempts at aggression prevented the normal development of the Orthodox Christmas that the Greek community of Istanbul (1.500 members) celebrates every year.
The Gray Wolves have taken responsibility for the action, accusing the Greeks of cultivating nostalgia for Constantinople and threatening them with retaliation: "We are ready to do what our ancestors did 500 years ago". Complaints of incitement to violence have fallen on deaf ears. The Gray Wolves, called Ulkuculers (idealists), enjoy growing sympathies in Turkey and Western recruitment centers are multiplying in the country.

Hitherto deprived of strong and recognizable objectives, they have finally found the enemy to fight, after the condemnation of communist atheism and the persecutions against the Kurdish people. The Gray Wolves, as a nationalist and xenophobic movement, have shown to have the same confused ideas of certain Arab regimes that find it convenient to blame the causes of their ills on the West, including the tyrannical satrapies that have always been their exclusive specialty.

The MHP, the political arm of the Gray Wolves, circulated a leaflet in the major cities of the country that said: «Fascism be cursed! Iron fist against the enemies of Muslims ”, with a photo of Hitler, flanked by that of Bush with a swastika on his arm.
It is likely that the Lupaganesipi Grigi (already responsible with Ali Agca for the attack on the Pope) have also erased Israel from the map as did the Palestinians, friends of the terrorists and the Italian left. But it is useful to remind the forgetful that in the last world war the Arabs were allies of the Nazi-fascists and that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin El Husseini (an uncle of Arafat), in 1941 invoked "the right of Arabs to resolve the Jewish question in the Arab territories in the same way that the Jewish question was resolved in the Axis territoriesAnd in 1944 on radio Berlin, inviting the Arabs to massacre Jews wherever they were, he praised the "final solution".

The purity of the race invoked by the Gray Wolves is paired with xenophobia and Islamic pride of the origins. The enemies are those that the Mohammedan tradition has always indicated as the closest and most dangerous: Christian Europe, liberal America, the "usurpating" Zionist Jews.
