Leonardo: agreement with Coursera for the continuous training of 40.000 employees on an international scale

Thanks to the agreement with Coursera, the world's leading digital platform for the use of MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) courses, Leonardo enhances the training opportunities offered to its people, in line with the corporate strategy it sees in employees and in their personal growth and professional a key element for the development and sustainability of the company.

Through the rich and articulated training offer of Coursera - more than 4.000 courses in 11 thematic areas and approximately 1.200 specialization programs - Leonardo will allow approximately 40.000 employees in Italy and worldwide to access multiple training courses, in the name of life- long learning attitude, that is, a continuous learning process, cut on the needs of individuals, to allow the acquisition of new skills, not only professional, but also personal. Leonardo employees will have unlimited access to the extensive Coursera catalog, 50% of which courses are attributable to Leonardo's Competence Management System and provided by the most prestigious universities - around 190 universities - and by world-leading companies in the industry hi-tech. The agreement introduces an innovative training standard, which offers the possibility of obtaining the certifications of the educational courses, issued by Coursera on behalf of the main universities in the world and publishable by each employee also directly on their LinkedIn profile.
