Libya: Dutch ambassador visits PM Sarraj at the reopening of a Dutch diplomatic office

The Dutch Ambassador to Libya, Eric Strating, visited today the Libyan government's prime minister, Fayez al Sarraj.
The Dutch diplomat, during the meeting held with a view to a strong and evident desire for cooperation between the two countries, made official the reopening of a diplomatic office of the Netherlands in Tripoli. This decision by the Dutch government comes following the request formalized by Sarraj during his recent visit to The Hague, which took place last June. As indicated in the note published by the Tripoli government, "The meeting served to develop bilateral relations between Libya and the Netherlands".
Confirming how much the parties intend to collaborate in the near future, the words of Strating who expressed the full willingness of Holland to contribute positively to help the Libyan population overcome the current crisis. On his Twitter profile, Strating described the reopening of a Dutch diplomatic office in Tripoli as "a first step towards full return". For the moment, the diplomat adds, "The embassy will remain Tunis"
During his visit to Tripoli, Strating also met Libyan Foreign Minister Mohammed Siyala, to whom he thanked for the support provided in the reopening of the diplomatic office.
