On the day of the beatification of Rosario Livatino, the Minister of Justice, Marta Cartabia, recalls the words of the magistrate, killed in Agrigento on 21 September 1990 and invites to "look up towards an authentic model of justice operator".
"The testimony of the first Italian magistrate proclaimed blessed is offered to us by his life spent in the cause of justice, even before his supreme sacrifice.
