Local Police: still checks for the emergency from Covid19

As part of the controls for the containment of the Covid19 contagion, on Thursday 16 April the Local Police of the Municipality of Naples deployed 366 agents, who checked the self-certification forms to 1.994 vehicle drivers and 881 people on foot. The patrols raised 15 fines of € 533,33 for travel without "justified and proven needs". For transgressors, in addition to the sanction, the local ASL was also reported for fiduciary isolation for a minimum of 14 days.

On the same day, the agents also carried out 474 checks at public establishments for compliance with the recommended safety distances, for the prohibition of assembly and for the verification of the appropriate certification of disinfection of the premises, as well as ascertaining the prescribed suspensions of activities. 9 business owners were fined for failing to comply with the provisions of the law.

In Scampia the territorial operational unit of the Local Police surprised the owner of a barber shop who, despite the prohibitions imposed, was continuing the activity. Inside the premises, the agents found the presence of four people in confined spaces and without any protective device. The owner and the clients were therefore fined, with relative report to the ASL for home stay measures with isolation.
