Lollobrigida: new sanctions for illegal hiring, no CAP money for those who violate the rules

"With today's approval in the Council of Ministers of the decree which provides for the new sanctions also on the subject of illegal hiring, the Meloni Government shows once again with the facts that Italy is finally moving on, even in the agricultural and agri-food world .

Among the various measures, we have in fact provided for new sanctions for those who violate the rules for the protection of workers' rights, including those against illegal hiring in agriculture. For the first time, those who are responsible for these infractions will not be able to receive economic aid and, in general, the benefits provided for by the CAP.

This provision is added to the interministerial decree on social conditionality that I signed about a month ago together with my fellow ministers of the Interior Piantedosi, Labor Calderone and Health Schillaci.

We continue, with concrete actions, to carry forward our policies to combat the exploitation of workers and to protect rights, health and safety at work". Thus the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Francesco Lollobrigida.
