London: car plunges on pedestrians, several wounded

The London Ambulance Service announced that eleven people were injured by the car that struck the crowd on the sidewalk in front of the Natural History Museum in Exhibition road today, at 14.20 pm local time (15.20 in Italy). Nine of them were then hospitalized with leg and head injuries.

According to the BBC, none of the injured are in serious condition. The police have arrested a person and are investigating to find out the circumstances of what happened.

The arrested man was pinned to the ground and immobilized by policemen in front of the astonished gazes of tourists in front of the museum.
