The book BURNOUT was born from a close and intense collaboration with the SAPPE Lazio Trade Union Manager Pasquale Toto and the Commissioner Coordinator of the Penitentiary Police Emanuela Anniciello.

BURNOUT, the writer's second book, is dedicated to all men and women of the Police Force and the Order of Journalists. The book was presented at 15:00 pm in Preview with a special dedication to the Penitentiary Police, to all the Aid Professions and to all the Police Forces.

These are the words of the Author: "To the Journalists, everyone, strong witnesses and fundamental spokespersons of dramatic news stories and to my Angelo Biondo Marco Vannini with an immense hug to all his family."

Marina Paterna affirms in fact, regarding the role of the service weapon given to the Police, which often, if used improperly, can generate terrible consequences. From suicide, to the voluntary or involuntary injury of another man, if used in an arbitrary and instinctive way.

Marina Paterna takes as an example the tragedy experienced by the Vannini family following a gunshot from one of the members of the Ciontoli family against Marco Vannini by will or by mistake and concludes as follows:

“The weapon given to the police lately is too often at hand when, instead, it should be more within reach of conscience. I dedicate this book of mine to the Vannini and Conte families. Families deeply wounded by a grave error or by great human superficiality. Wounded forever by a bullet called absence, stuck in the heart. To my Angelo Biondo who flew away too soon. "

Also present and Speaker at the event was Dr. Luigi Lucchetti (General Medical Director of the State Police retired former Director of the Center of Neurology and Medical Psychology President of AIGESFOS - Italian Association for the Management of Stress in the Police and Rescue Forces) .

Marina Paterna considers herself very lucky for the dual role entrusted to her as Speaker, Moderator and for having been invited by the Secretary General of SAPPE Donato Capece to present her latest book BURNOUT. "I believe that SAPPE has really grasped the meaning and importance of the content of my text, which wants to be the simplest and most immediate way to reach all those men and women who in case of personal discomfort in the private and professional sphere have not yet found the courage to turn to a psychologist. "

Marina Paterna describes the pages of her new work as follows: “Inside the book there are keywords, advice, ideas, analyzes, pushes, signals, input to be grasped and read for oneself and to help others. Even a brother, a mother, a father, a colleague. Nothing is left to chance. It is really written with a lot of respect and love for all the professions related to safety, medicine and help professions. It is a book created to save Souls, as far as words can be reached, and where facts can materialize. "

The conference was also the result of close collaboration with the Department of Human Neuroscience, the Faculty of Medicine, the Sapienza University of Rome, the Department of Law of the ROMA TRE University and the Piersanti Mattarella School of Criminal Execution.
