According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 30 protesters were injured, among them 5 journalists, and 2 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the clashes that broke out today on the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel a few hours from inauguration of the American embassy in Jerusalem.
Demonstrators and Palestinian militants have gathered at several points near the border of the Strip with Israel, approaching the boundary barrier and ending up in the sights of the military of "Tsahal".

An extraordinary meeting scheduled by the "Arab League" will be scheduled for next Wednesday to discuss the transfer of the US embassy to Jerusalem.
The meeting aims to "oppose the illegal decision taken by the US". The official move of the American diplomatic representation will take place today at 16 local time, the 15 in Italy, with a ceremony attended by hundreds of guests.
Among the delegations present, there will be neither the Russian nor the Egyptian one, as well as that of the EU even if four countries of the Old Continent (Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania) will send diplomatic representatives.
