Proposals until 2 September
The online consultation reserved for the National Action Plan for organic production and organic products is underway. Until 2 September on the MiPAAF website, sector stakeholders, civil society and organizations directly or indirectly involved in organic production issues will be able to express themselves on the proposal prepared by the Ministry after having heard the Technical Roundtable in organic farming.
The survey represents a listening window open to the requests of civil society and has the purpose of collecting contributions to the definitive drafting of the Plan.
The national law n. 23 of 9 March 2022, which governs the protection, development and competitiveness of agricultural, agri-food and aquaculture production using organic methods, Article 7 provides that the MiPAAF adopts by decree, subject to agreement in the State-Regions Conference , the National Action Plan for Organic Production and Organic Products. This is a three-year plan 2022-2024, whose interventions are aimed at satisfying the 12 objectives set by law no. 23/2022 which refer to the protection, development and competitiveness of the national organic sector.
