Bellanova: "we continue to work to give a central role to the supply chain of life"
The measures proposed by the Mipaaf and included in the Milleproroghe decree on agriculture were approved by the Council of Ministers. These are the measures that have obtained the green light from the CDM:
- Extension of EIPLI fixed-term contracts until 31 December 2021, in order to ensure the continuity of activities regarding the plants and infrastructures of the Irrigation Authority.
- Extension until 31 December 2021 of the suspensions of the recovery procedures of State aid granted to sugar refineries, in order to protect companies in the sector.
- Extension until 31 December 2021 of the deadline for the accreditation of bodies authorized to carry out the functions of control and certification of PDO and PGI wines.
- Extension of the exemption from the obligations to present anti-mafia documentation for state aid with amounts of less than 25 thousand euros, in order to allow easier disbursement of benefits to companies, taking into account the continuing socio-economic crisis due to Covid.
- Suspension of the payment deadline for contributions paid by self-employed workers who are beneficiaries of the contribution exemption in November and December 2020, until the Inps communicates the outcome of the application.
"These are strategic and necessary measures, strongly expected by the agricultural world and by the supply chains, aimed at facing a series of problems due to the emergency from COVID19, and aimed at ensuring continuity in the activities of companies, safeguarding the operation of infrastructures plumbing, simplify bureaucracy and give the necessary support to those who have found themselves in a difficult situation in this difficult year“, Underlines Minister Teresa Bellanova. We continue to work with the utmost attention to support our agriculture, the supply chain of Life, exit this phase as soon as possible and prepare for the relaunch of the entire sector.".
