Death in Gaza on Christmas Day. Israel evaluates peace plan proposed by Egypt

The attacks in Gaza do not stop, as reported by Al Jazeera in the last 24 hours there were around a hundred deaths in an attack carried out by Israel on Christmas day.

In a statement released by the Gaza health minister, at least 68 victims were killed in an Israeli attack on the Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Meanwhile, the diplomatic effort to stop the war continues and Egypt is proposing a three-phase plan to end the conflict. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to convene the war cabinet today to discuss the three-phase peace plan put on the table by Egypt. In recent days, the political leaders of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and several representatives of Western governments went to Cairo. The plan includes a ceasefire for the release of hostages, the creation of a government of Palestinian technicians that has authority over both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and the negotiation of a political agreement that would lead to a complete end to hostilities.

Ten thousand demonstrators in Rabat to say no to the "war of extermination". Sarah Netanyahu, wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu, wrote a letter to the Pope asking for "personal intervention" for the release of the hostages.

During the homily of the Christmas mass, the Holy Father addressed an emotional message: "Our heart is in Bethlehem, where Jesus, prince of peace, is still rejected by the losing logic of war". For Abu Mazen: "The sun of freedom and an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital is inevitably arriving."
