Nicastri: the involvement of teachers among the novelties of the 2023 edition

“Racconti nella Rete”, Aidr: sent over 2.000 letters to schools. The winner will be decided by the preferences expressed online

Over two thousand letters sent in these hours by the Aidr association (Italian digital revolution association) to second grade school groups. An appeal to teachers and students for the widest possible participation in the "Racconti nella Rete" award. In fact, schools will be the protagonists of the 22nd edition of the literary award conceived and directed by journalist Demetrio Brandi and included in the LuccAutori festival, of which Aidr is a partner. For the 2023 edition, the technical committee, which will evaluate the unpublished literary works of the youth section up to the age of 25, will be joined by a jury made up of all second-grade school groups in Italy, who will be able to vote online, on the Aidr portal (www. aidr.it), the three finalist short stories. The winner will then be decreed on the basis of the preferences expressed online by the teachers.

“Our association – underlines the president of Aidr, Mauro Nicastri in a note – shares the mission with the 'Racconti nella Rete' literary prize: the web as an opportunity, the web as a means of knowledge. For this reason, on the occasion of the European Year of Skills promoted by the European Union, we proposed to involve schools, thanks to the support of teachers. From this year the winner of the young section of the literary prize will be decreed in the first days of June thanks to the online vote, on the Aidr portal, expressed by the teachers of all the secondary schools in Italy. We also hope that the digital unpublished works will also be discussed, read and shared by the students in the classroom and that they can be a stimulus for the next editions of the Literary Award".
