According to reports from the Negro police, yesterday, some unidentified armed men belonging to a criminal gang attacked a farm and killed at least 7 people in the area of Emohua, 50 km from Omuku, in the southern state of Rivers.
The area had already been the scene, in recent days, of another attack against some Christian faithful who were returning from midnight mass.
Police Commissioner for Rivers State Zaki Ahmed stated that "The attackers arrived on a motorcycle and fired at people, before fleeing as quickly as they arrived".
