Vaccination obligation for over 50s

Vaccine obligation for over 50s, who will be able to go to work only if immunized or cured from Covid, this is the provision at the end of the cdm. The majority, however, are divided on the introduction of the obligation of the super green pass to access services or enter shops, with the League that after having threatened to abstention must collect the 'line' imposed by the premier Mario Draghi on the vaccination obligation but obtains the modification of the rule provided for by the draft entry into the Council of Ministers: the basic pass is enough to go to the bank, hairdresser or post office.

Pd, Forza Italia, Italia Viva and the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza were to extend the vaccination obligation to all workers while on the opposite front the Lega-Cinquestelle axis was recreated

Mario Draghi found the synthesis of a difficult day, imposing, against the will of the League, the obligation to vaccinate all Italians over 50, a choice that is not a "political compromise", explain government sources but which serves to reduce hospitalizations, given that those are the most recurrent age groups in intensive care and in Covid wards.

Draghi has succumbed to the League: to access personal services - therefore hairdressers and beauticians - in public offices, banking, postal and financial services, in shopping centers and shops, with the exception of those "necessary to ensure the satisfaction of essential and primary needs of people", the basic green pass will suffice and not the reinforced one, as was foreseen by the first draft of the decree.

As soon as the decree is published in the Official Gazette, the vaccine obligation will start up until June 15 for all those who have turned 50 years old or who will turn them by that date, with the exemption only for those who have a medical certificate.. Those who are cured, on the other hand, will have to be vaccinated after 6 months.

The draft of the decree does not provide for sanctions and therefore it will be necessary to understand how the obligation will be imposed. But for the 50-year-olds there is also another intervention: from February 15th it will be possible to go to work only with the super green pass. A measure that applies to both the private and public sectors, including those who work in the judiciary and the magistrates.

The checks will be up to the employers e those who do not have the super green pass will be considered unjustified absent until the presentation of the certification, "With the right to retain the employment relationship and without disciplinary consequences", but with the suspension of salary and any "other remuneration or emolument, however named".

However, companies will be able to replace those who do not have a strengthened pass. In this case, penalties are envisaged: whoever enters a workplace and does not have the super pass incurs a fine from the prefect ranging from 600 to 1.500 euros.

Smart Working. Ministers Brunetta and Orlando signed the circular in which public administrations and private employers are made aware of making full use of the tool.

School. With the decree, the government also modifies the management of covid cases at school. In childhood, with a positive one goes to quarantine for 10 days while in elementary school, with one case surveillance is applied with tests on the first and after five days while with 2 cases one stays at home for 10 days.

In middle and high schools, on the other hand, with two cases you stay in class (with self-monitoring and use of Ffp2) with three cases going to Dad for 10 days only the unvaccinated and those who have been vaccinated for more than four months and with only 4 cases the whole class is at home.
