| Industrial production resumes in May after the decline in April. The seasonally adjusted index recorded an increase of 0,7% compared to April. This is evident from the Istat data. Adjusted for calendar effects, in May 2017 the index increased in trend terms by 2,8%. On average for the first five months of the year, production increased by 1,7% compared to the same period of the previous year. This growth exceeded analysts' expectations. |
