The State Police of Padua is carrying out a vast police operation, concerning the execution of various precautionary measures and the total denunciation of 77 subjects, all suspected, in various capacities, of being part of a criminal association, committed to the commission crimes of ideological and documental falsehood, related to crimes against public faith, the administration of justice and immigration.
The members, behind the high compensation, "formed" false practices, suitable to simulate a permanent employment relationship, in reality non-existent.
The beneficiaries of the false documentation then used the fraudulent job position to obtain an indeterminate series of usefulness: from obtaining residence permits for foreigners, to undue welfare benefits provided by INPS, up to admission to penalties alternative to detention and other benefits arranged by the Judicial Authority.
The investigative activities, which involved several Italian provinces, have made it possible to ascertain economic damage to INPS of about 80.000 euro.
