Plenitude launches one to zero challenge

Plenitude, a Benefit Company wholly owned by Eni, present on the market with a unique business model that integrates production from renewables, the sale of energy and a large network of charging points for electric vehicles, launches One to Zero Challenge. The goal of this call100Innovation is to find innovative solutions to make the most of the integration and synergies of the three businesses, contributing to the reduction of Scope 4 emissions.

One to Zero Challenge is aimed, at an international level, at startups, Innovative SMEs, Companies and University Spinoffs that have a potentially interesting solution already commercially validated to maximize the value of the integration.

The Chief Executive Officer of Plenitude, Stefano Goberti, stated: "With One to Zero Challenge, we invite innovation ecosystems at an international level to join our commitment to support customers in reducing CO2 emissions and enhancing the synergies of the model. integrated business of Plenitude. Applications will be collected by the end of November and a process of analysis and selection of the proposals will follow. The 10 best companies will therefore be invited to present their solution before the final evaluation committee at the beginning of 2023 and those considered to be of greatest value will be able to access the Company's skills, assets and expertise to deepen possible collaborations. Furthermore, for a startup there will be the opportunity to present its solution directly at the Selection Day of ZERO, the Cleantech Accelerator of the National Accelerators Network of CDP, launched by CDP Venture Capital, Eni, LVenture Group and ELIS.

Plenitude supplies energy to around 10 million European customers in the retail market and aims to reach over 2 GW of installed capacity from renewable sources by the end of 2022, over 6 GW by 2025 and over 15 GW by 2030.
