Valditara: "Procedure designed to respect the times of the PNRR and guarantee quality and sustainability"
On indication of the Ministry of Education and Merit, Invitalia has published a tender procedure, with resources for almost 800 million euros, for the award of Framework Agreements to accelerate the construction of new schools to replace old pre-existing buildings, such as envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
The tender, divided into 20 geographical lots, will allow for the faster construction of 136 new institutes owned by various entities, including municipalities, metropolitan cities and provinces, throughout the national territory. You have until June 30, 2026 to submit bids.
"Thanks to the intervention of the MIM, in agreement with ACI and UPI, the assignment and subsequent execution of the works will be able to follow a particularly rapid procedure, specifically designed for school construction, in order to respect the stringent deadlines of the PNRR and guaranteeing at the same time the quality and sustainability of the results”, declared the Minister Giuseppe Valditara.
The procedure will make it possible to entrust the execution of the works for the progressive replacement of part of the school building stock, to create innovative schools from an architectural, structural and systems point of view, highly sustainable and with the highest degree of energy efficiency.
The interventions include the construction, through in situ reconstruction or relocation, of safe, modern, inclusive and sustainable structures that can help reduce consumption and polluting emissions, increase the seismic safety of buildings and develop green areas.
The goal is to achieve primary energy consumption that is at least 20% lower than the requirement for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEBs) by 30 June 2026.
