State Police. Caivano “High Impact” operation

This morning the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Financial Police carried out a vast operation, with "High Impact" mode, within the "Green Park" of Caivano (NA) and in the surrounding areas where they are Dozens of searches were carried out. At the end of the aforementioned activities, the following were found and seized: narcotic substances such as cocaine and hashish, weapons and related ammunition, cash as well as video surveillance systems with cameras placed to monitor premises and external areas. Administrative checks were carried out aimed at verifying compliance with the rules of the Highway Code and the environmental and hygienic health conditions of the various properties located there. In particular, 79 people were identified, 149 vehicles were checked, of which 12 were seized, the owner of a bar was administratively sanctioned for failure to display the timetable and 46 violations of the Highway Code were also contested.

Lastly, the census activity of the approximately 700 apartments in the Park began in order to ascertain their regular occupation. This morning's operations represent, once again, the presence of the State in those territories characterized by strong hardship. The activity in question is, among other things, symptomatic of a strategic plan characterized by regular and structured interventions aimed at reaffirming the principles of legality. For this "High Impact" over 400 operators from the various law enforcement agencies were employed, including specialized departments such as the Scientific Police, the Traffic Police, the Crime Prevention Department, the anti-drug dog units of the State Police, the anti-drug dog unit and for the search for weapons of the Carabinieri, the anti-drug and anti-terrorism dog units of the Guardia di Finanza, the departments of the Castello di Cisterna Group, the SIO of the Campania Regiment, the API of the Naples Group, the Frattamaggiore Group as well as the ATPI departments of the Pronto Impiego Group of Naples, of Giugliano in Campania and of Torre Annunziata of the Guardia di Finanza assisted by the Metropolitan Police of Naples and the Fire Brigade. The operations were controlled from above by the helicopters of the Flight Department of the State Police and the Air Section of the Guardia di Finanza.
