The Salerno State Police, delegated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, District Anti-Mafia Directorate, carried out 13 precautionary measures (11 in prison, 2 under house arrest) against as many offenders belonging to a criminal group dedicated to drug trafficking in the Nocerino-Sarnese countryside area.
In the operation, conducted by the Salerno Mobile Squad, a fugitive wanted for murder was also captured.
In addition, 4 arrests ordered by the public prosecutor were carried out against as many subjects made responsible for attempted aggravated extortion against an entrepreneur and illegal possession of firearms.
During the home searches, several weapons were illegally detained by one of the arrested subjects.
