This morning, at the Sala Umberto Theater in Rome, in the presence of the Chief of Police, Director General of Public Security, Franco Gabrielli, the award ceremony for the first edition of the State Police project in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of University and Research, “We demand Legality, at school with Commissioner Mascherpa”.
The aim of the competition, launched during the 2017 / 2018 school year, the dissemination among the young people of the culture of legality.
Testimonial of the initiative, Commissioner Mascherpa, protagonist of the graphic novel in episodes published exclusively in the monthly “Polizia Moderna”. The students were asked to creatively elaborate the themes entitled: “I = us. Legality = responsibility ”and“ The future is in the memory: how to regain spaces of collective legality.
The award ceremony was presented by the actress of the fiction "Un Posto al Sole" Clotilde Sabatino. Present at the initiative were the Deputy Chief Vicar Pref. Luigi Savina, the Deputy Chief Pref. Nicolò D´Angelo, the Head of the Secretariat of the Department of Public Security Pref. Enzo Calabria, the Rome Police Commissioner Guido Marino, the general director for the student , integration and participation in the Ministry of Education, University and Research Dott.sa Giovanna Boda, the champions of Fiamme Oro Valentina Vezzali, Roberto Cammarelle, Irma Testa and Alice Volpi. During the initiative, the actor Alessio Vassallo recited a short monologue and to follow Emanuela Aureli entertained the guests with a funny speech.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, an exhibition area was set up, aimed at the young people involved in the project and open to citizens, in the adjacent Pizza San Silvestro with the presence of some historic and latest generation vehicles, including the Lamborghini Huracan car, the new super specialized “Fullback” vehicle of the Scientific Police and the Camper of the “This is not love” project.
