The State Police, in the context of targeted territorial control activities within the "Zen" district, arrested in the flagrant crime of production and possession for the purpose of drug dealing and illegal possession of firearms , the 19-year-old offender Gabriele Ferrazzano and his parents Ferrazzano Salvatore, class ´67 and Vallecchia Maria, class ´68.
In the late morning of today, the agents of the General Prevention and Public Aid Office broke in, to carry out a search, at the house in Ferrazzano, on the third floor of a building in Via Costante Girardengo, where they lived with their parents. .
Right from the start, the young man showed clear signs of impatience with control, unsuspecting agents.
During the activities, inside a closet in his bedroom, the policemen found a backpack with 432 sticks of hashish inside and a bag containing 5 large bags full of dried marijuana, about 1kg each, still from pack and 62 pre-packaged doses of the same substance; Under the bed, on the other hand, a sawed-off shotgun branded "Breda" was concealed, with its cartridge belt stocked with 25 12-gauge bullets and a crossbow.
Adjacent to the bedroom, separated by a plasterboard wall, a closet used as an "indoor greenhouse" was discovered, inside which there was a plantation of about 60 marijuana plants and everything needed for its cultivation (halogen lamps , devices for ventilation, fertilizer etc ..).
In the kitchen, behind a cupboard, the policemen discovered a hole made in the wall, inside which two 9-caliber pistols with three magazines, as well as 71 cartridges were found.
Finally, in the bathroom, inside a cavity formed between the floor and the tub, the agents found other bags containing dried marijuana, an envelope with cocaine powder inside, two more containing cocaine crystals, still to be cut. , as well as about 40 doses of the same substance packaged in small eggs placed in some blister packs and ready to be retailed.
During the search it was found, moreover, the sum of about 1000,00 euro in banknotes of different denominations, mostly kept on the mother of Ferrazzano and the remaining parts inside some furnishings, as well as a considerable amount of coins, equal about 150 euro inside a big jug placed in the kitchen.
In the light of what emerged Ferrazzano Gabriele and both his parents were arrested and taken to the “A.Lorusso” (Pagliarelli) prison.
Further technical investigations are being carried out on the seized weapons by the staff of the Scientific Police Office of Palermo.
