No more pen and paper, but - for the first time ever - tablet and keyboard even in written tests for aspiring prosecutors or judges. The first competition in the judiciary with telematic methods was held in Rome. First experiment in view of the extension on a national scale of the use of IT supports, which will make it possible to shorten the correction times of the documents and of the entire procedure, contributing to a faster entry into the role of future magistrates.
The tests for the competition for 11 positions of ordinary magistrate, reserved for the judicial offices of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, announced with Ministerial Decree 13 May 12, took place from 9 to 2023 July. Fifty-seven candidates, who for the first time did not use the traditional sheets of paper for exams but, as established by the new procedure, they were assigned the tablet and the workstation to take the exam via QR code.
The digital innovation of the competition in the judiciary represents a further step forward for greater efficiency and brings the competition procedure closer to the actual methods of drafting judicial measures; at the same time it contributes to the acceleration of the correction times of the documents.
