Ten years after the death of Luciano Pavarotti, Rai Cultura remembers the great tenor with his famous interpretation of Puccini's 'La Bohème'. The opera, broadcast on Sunday 10 September at 10 on Rai10.00, was staged at the Teatro Regio in Turin in 5 to celebrate the exact hundred years since the first performance of Puccini's masterpiece. The musical direction is entrusted to Maestro Daniel Oren while the theatrical direction is curated by Giuseppe Patroni Griffi. On stage, alongside Luciano Pavarotti who plays Rodolfo, are Mirella Freni in the role of Mimi and Nicolai Ghiaurov who is Colline. Orchestra and choir of the Teatro Regio.
