The State Police of Reggio Calabria, in the day today carried out against six children an order of custody of placement in the community because they are considered, for various reasons, responsible for acts of persecution (bullying), sexual violence, solicitation of minors, group sexual violence, private violence, sexual acts with minors and child pornography, consummated against four underage girls, one of which, at the material time, was less than 13 years.
The investigations, conducted by the Flying Squadron Section "Offenses against the person, to the detriment of minors and sexual relations" have originated from a report received from personnel of the "SOS Telefono Azzurro" Body, with which it was brought to the attention of the competent Authorities a alleged sexual assault as well as numerous harassment and harassment behavior, including telephone calls, suffered by a minor girl by her own age.
The victim of sexual assault at the time of the denunciation also brought to light several incidents of harassing conduct on a continuous and permanent basis both with respect to the same complainant and to two other underage girls who were found by the video surveillance systems acquired and analyzed by the investigators and from the analysis of the traffic data of the utilities in use to the young boys.
In relation to the alleged bullying behavior of the underage boy, during the three-year middle school cycle, all the victims confirmed that they had suffered constant harassment that resulted in repeated insults, serious threats and physical assaults, resulting in change of their life habits and the creation of a lasting state of anxiety, with an evident destabilizing effect of their serenity and their psychological balance.
From the reconstruction of the facts other episodes of physical violence with sexual background also emerged to the detriment of two underage girls, one of whom is less than 13. In about ten episodes, the latter was lured by deceit by the boy who committed the acts of bullying, with the intent of obtaining a meeting and performing, in competition with other friends, sexual acts with the minor.
At the end of the formalities at the police station, the children will be placed in different communities at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
