The Minister of Education, Professor Patrizio Bianchi, met the Accademia dei Lincei yesterday by videoconference. And, in particular, the President Giorgio Parisi, Professor Marco Mancini, Professor Luca Serianni, Professor Roberto Antonelli.
On that occasion, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry and the Academy was renewed, in line with the desire to continue the joint promotion of initiatives in favor of schools, with particular reference to the area of teacher training. To this end, the Lincei Foundation for the Academy School, which has been involved in this sense for years, will also be supporting.
“We need to give support to teachers with training that alongside disciplinary competence, the ability to respond, with educational and pedagogical tools, also to the uncertainty with which children are facing this phase. We need to pursue this goal, looking beyond the pandemic. In this passage I am sure that the Accademia dei Lincei will be able to make an extraordinary contribution ”, said the Minister speaking during the meeting.
