The US Department of State has issued an "alert" precisely on Italy, we recommend American citizens who intend to stay in our country "greater caution". The “level 2” warning concerns countries where the risk of an attack could be high. Level 2 is the second of four danger levels.
"We must exercise - reads the notice of the State Department - Greater caution, terrorist groups continue to plan possible attacks in Italy". The note was updated to January 15, 2020 and is probably the most recent daughter of the secret services that have affected our country.
"Terrorists - you can still read in the note in question - they can attack with little or no warning, affecting tourist locations, transportation centers, markets or shopping centers, local government structures, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events, educational institutions, airports and others public areas".
The same alarm has also been issued for Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
