This time, a 63-year-old woman from the city of Segni, in the province of Rome, was caught in the act of crime.
The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro, after the first investigations have ascertained that the criminal had numerous precedents for thefts. Already reported for a similar crime in some hospitals in the capital, last afternoon, the thief tried to do it also in the hospital of Colleferro. Surprised by the health staff, who alerted the 112, while rummaging through the personal effects of patients admitted to the orthopedics department, the woman was blocked by the Carabinieri of the Operating and Radiomobile Unit, who immediately intervened on the spot.
Judged by a very direct rite, the serial thief was sentenced to 10 months of imprisonment to be paid to the house at his home in Segni where he lives with her husband.
