Stolen secrets CIA and FBI, an English kid on trial

Kane Gamble aged 15, English, in these days on trial in London, his story looks like a movie and maybe it will become one. From Leicester, from his little room he entered the top secret systems of the CIA and FBI. From June 2015 to February 2016 Ken managed to steal passwords, information on the privacy of the 007, security details and even information on secret US operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. How? Using a technique very common among hackers, 'social engineering', which consists in pretending to be someone else's, in the case of Ken first an employee of the Verizon telephone company, then directly the head of the CIA, and convincing the people with whom they come in contact to provide you with all the information you ask for. As simple as it is disarming. Especially because Ken has decided to target the biggest figures of the American agency and services from the council house where he lives with his mother: in addition to Brennan, FBI deputy Mark Giuliano, the then security secretary Jeh Johnson and the director of national intelligence under Barack Obama, James Clapper. All the hacked secrets were then used by the 15-year-old to persecute his victims and their families. For months he has bombarded them with messages and calls, downloaded pornographic images on their computers and checked their tablets and televisions. He even managed to get into Brennan's wife's iPad and Clapper's email. He threatened Johnson, by telephone, "to rape his daughter." "He held these people in his hands and played to make their lives hell," the judge explained to London's Old Bailey. Some of the information was posted on Twitter, where the boy bragged about having made the "biggest cyber breach", others on the site of the pro-Palestine group 'Crackas With Attitude' he founded in 2015. Ken, who has to answer of ten counts, he was subjected to a psychiatric examination and for doctors he suffers from a form of autism. He was arrested by British police in February 2016, after the FBI discovered the violation and he had already stolen the personal data of 20.000 Bureau employees.
