In the night i Carabinieri of the Colleferro Company they arrested a cohabiting couple, a 47-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, domiciled in Artena, already known to the police, suspected of aggravated theft of tobacco in a bar on Via Latina.
To make the arrest i soldiers of the Artena Station who, having received the report from the Operations Center of a theft in a bar, quickly reached the place and in the presence of the owner of the business carried out a detailed inspection by viewing the images of the closed circuit video surveillance system depicting two people, a man and a woman. The same, after forcing the shutter and the entrance door, entered the bar seizing about 100 packs of cigarettes and then fleeing.
The immediate searches circulated, thanks also to the description of the car used by the criminals provided by the owner of the business, allowed the Carabinieri of the Colleferro Mobile Rate to trace the two criminals, in less than twenty minutes, in the neighboring area municipality of Valmontone. Inside the reported car, the 47-year-old and the 33-year-old were on board who, subjected to a personal search, were found in possession of the entire stolen goods.
The military, in addition to acquiring the complaint from the manager of the commercial exercise, also acquired the videos of the video surveillance cameras that documented the moments in which the couple took possession of the stolen goods.
All tobacco found was returned to the owner of the business. The Court of Velletri has just validated the arrest of the couple with the obligation to report to the judicial police twice a week.
