Russia: Putin ready for his fourth nomination

According to Kommersant, everything would be ready in Russia to launch Vladimir Putin's candidacy as president in the upcoming election next year. The daily says that the election campaign is almost ready and that was discussed last week at a meeting of the Kremlin's "political blockade" led by the first deputy head of presidential staff, Serghei Kiriyenko.

The candidacy should first be realized with the consent of Putin to appear as a candidate; this could happen during a television broadcast as the "direct line with the president" during which a citizen could ask the Kremlin leader to run to the presidential and he could agree, thus formalizing his candidacy and then participating, next fall, at " a series of internal political events such as "the Day of Memory of Victims of Political Repression, scheduled for October 30.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, after his candidacy, Putin will review the formulation of legal rules and requests at the center of the electoral proposal.
