SACE SIMEST and SINOSURE, two agreements with China

As part of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Italy, the SACE SIMEST Pole (CDP Group) has signed two agreements with major Chinese stakeholders to support the export and international growth of Italian companies.

Agreement between SACE SIMEST and SINOSURE

The agreement between SACE SIMEST and SINOSURE, the Chinese export credit agency, aims to strengthen cooperation to increase and facilitate business opportunities for companies in the two countries, with particular attention to SMEs.

Specifically, the Parties undertake to facilitate companies' access to their financial insurance solutions; share information and explore opportunities for joint interventions on projects of mutual interest also in third countries; organize workshops, forums and business matching events dedicated to businesses; share best practices in risk assessment, assumption and management, credit recovery.

Agreement between SACE SIMEST and SUMEC

The agreement between SACE SIMEST and SUMEC, a company that acts as an import agent of the Chinese Government, aims to strengthen collaboration to increase and facilitate business opportunities for Italian companies in China, with particular attention to SMEs.

Specifically, the Parties undertake to facilitate the assignment of contracts by SUMEC to Italian suppliers, with the insurance-financial support of SACE SIMEST. The agreement also provides for the creation of a dedicated team at SUMEC to identify and support business opportunities for Italian companies in the various Chinese provinces where the company operates, and the use of the SACE SIMEST Office in Shanghai as focal points for all SUMEC requests. Finally, the Parties undertake to organize workshops, forums and business matching events dedicated to companies.
