School, the latest Dpcm does not prohibit educational activities carried out in theaters, libraries, museums. Explanation note sent to educational institutions

The educational activities that are carried out routinely and not occasionally in environments other than school ones (for example parks, theaters, libraries, archives, cinemas, museums), also following specific agreements such as "Community agreements", made in collaboration with Local authorities, public and private institutions operating in various ways in the territories, and the realities of the Third Sector, remain regularly permitted after the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers signed on 13 October last.

This is specified in the note sent today to schools that answers the questions received by the Ministry regarding the interpretation and application of some provisions contained in the Dpcm. In fact, article 1, paragraph 6, letter s) of the Decree states: "educational trips, exchange or twinning initiatives, guided tours and educational outings, however named, scheduled by all types of schools and degree, without prejudice to the activities related to the paths for transversal skills and orientation, as well as the internship activities referred to in the decree of the Minister of Education, University and Research 10 September 2010, n.249, to be carried out in cases where it is possible to ensure compliance with the health and safety requirements in force ".

But the Dpcm does not refer, explains the ministerial note, to the ordinary educational activities organized by schools in alternative spaces located outside the school buildings to prevent and contain the spread of the contagion and favor physical distancing in contexts of action other than the usual ones. .
