School, increases to ATA and DSGA staff

Valditara: “We value the contribution of all staff, for a more inclusive and student-centred school”

In the meeting that took place yesterday at the Ministry of Education and Merit with the trade union representatives of the signatory organizations of the national contract, the path was traced to guarantee, in implementation of the CCNL, rapid times for the attribution of horizontal economic positions , for the vertical transitions from the collaborator profile to the operator profile and for the transition from administrative assistants acting as DSGA to the new area of highly qualified officials. These joint efforts between the Ministry and the trade union organizations signatory to the national contract demonstrate a shared commitment to improving working conditions and enhancing the value of ATA staff.

In particular, over 70.000 economic positions will be assigned, through a training course with final test, which will allow the acquisition of permanent economic benefits of between 45 euros and 100 euros per month.

Furthermore, the procedures for the transfer of approximately 1.800 DSGA officials to the area of officials and high qualification will begin quickly, further strengthening the structure of our system thanks to the consolidation of the fundamental role of the administrative secretariats in schools.

Finally, through the use of 36,9 million euros provided for in the CCNL, it will be possible to move a significant number of school collaborators into the new operator area with an increase of approximately 690 euros gross per year each, in exchange for additional functions, intended to strengthen support for pupils with disabilities who can be guaranteed assistance with their health and hygiene needs.

“The Ministry is working to ensure that the changes envisaged for ATA and DSGA personnel by the national contract can materialize as quickly as possible. These are measures that demonstrate the Government's commitment to the continuous improvement of working conditions in the national education system", declared the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara. “Our objective is to enhance the contribution of all school staff who in various capacities are involved in our schools to create a system that is increasingly inclusive and student-centred”.
