There are numerous collapses and evacuations in Ischia, due to the 3,6 magnitude earthquake that shook the island of the Gulf of Naples at 20,57. In the municipality of Casamicciola, an inhabited building in Piazza Maio and a church of Purgatory collapsed and there are some injured and missing. The Rizzoli hospital in Lacco Ameno was evacuated after some cracks were identified, with the exception of five intubated patients. The Ingv has announced that the epicenter of this evening's earthquake is located, at a depth of about 10 km, near the coast of the municipality of Forio in Ischia. The municipalities within 20 km from the epicenter are the following: Forio (17.615 inhabitants), Serrana Fontana (3.173), Lacco Ameno (4.853), Barano d'Ischia (10.113) Casamicciola Terme (8.362) and the homonymous municipality of Ischia ( 19.915). The nearby island of Procida, which is common to itself, has 10.530 inhabitants and is located 17km from the epicenter.
