The two thieves, taking advantage of the night and the lack of illumination, had managed to enter the warehouse after having ripped the fence net. After breaking the tanks of four truck mixers, parked inside the depot, they removed from their interior about 50 liters of fuel that was poured into some tanks. Following the vehicular search, the military found and seized screwdrivers, gloves, burglary tools of all kinds and jerry cans, some still empty, but which they would have filled if they had not been disturbed by the timely intervention of the Carabinieri.

After the arrest the two were taken to the barracks and held at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, awaiting the direct rite. The military investigations continue to ascertain whether the two can be the perpetrators of further episodes of theft in the industrial area of the Roman town.
